Industry applications
How the 14" / 120 lb tie is used across trades.
Solar
Bundling PV DC cable runs and securing microinverter and junction box leads to module rails, where the 14" length and 120 lb rating accommodate multiple conductors and provide a secure, UV-resistant attachment for outdoor arrays.
Electrical
Organizing and fastening multi-conductor feeder runs to junction boxes, conduit or cable trays on commercial and residential projects, delivering the holding strength needed for heavier gauge cables and larger bundles.
HVAC
Securing duct insulation, routing control wiring, and fastening condensate or refrigerant lines to equipment frames, using the extra length and 120 lb tensile rating to keep larger hoses and bundles in place during installation.
Automotive
Routing wiring harnesses and securing battery or starter cable runs and hoses in engine bays, where a longer, heavy-duty tie simplifies bundling and attachment of multiple components.
Telecom
Securing larger fiber and copper cable bundles to rack uprights, pole brackets or outdoor splice enclosures, providing sufficient length and strength to manage multiple runs without slipping.
Construction
Temporary and semi-permanent cable management on job sites—bundling power cords, fastening conduit runs, and securing signage or protective sheeting—where 14" ties handle mixed, heavier assemblies reliably.
